Previous Donations

Jan 2016: Thank you to St Clements Episcopal Church!! Sharon Burke-Polana brought over 16 bags of hoodies, other clothes and hygiene products! We just got them transferred to the district's liaison officer - very much appreciated!

Dec 2015: Big Donation!! Members of Sacramento Paddle Pushers (Kayak club) picked us as their charity this year, and I just got back from picking up the donations - 7 bags! 11 hoodies, 62 pairs of socks, 12 bottles of shampoo/body wash, 14 deodorant containers, 6 pairs of underwear, and more!!

Aug 2015: Thanks to the Interact group at Folsom Lake High and the Folsom Rotary! I just picked up boxes and bags of personal hygiene supplies for homeless students in our district!! What a day! The donation from Interact came from the students at Folsom Lake - making it a very special donation!

Jul 2015: Woo Hoo - thank you employees of benefitsCONNECT in Rancho Cordova for 6 boxes of brand new socks, underwear and personal hygiene supplies for homeless students in our district. What a generous donation – I can’t wait until I can get this over to our school staff to show them! Each individual donation may seem small, but you are touching the life of a child who just needs a little help with the basic necessities.

Dec 2014: Great news alert!! Employees at VSP Vision Care collected 1066 pairs of socks and undies for homeless students during their "Toasty Toes & Tushies" drive. Thank you so much for being intentional and generous. Way to go!! You LIKE? — with Andy Gee.

Dec 2014: Major thanks to the Folsom U11G red soccer team for baking cookies for our annual shoe drive. Thank you so much girls (and to amazing parents who teach their kids a lifestyle of generosity).

2013-12-14:A big thank you to Lyle Co in Rancho Cordova for donating $200 in cash. Lyle Co has been so supportive these past few years. Also, we should mention Golden State Water Company made a very generous donation to support homeless students last month. It’s amazing to see the business community come together.

2013-12-14:A quick shout out to Sac-Connect for supporting the Project 680 Fill in the Gaps drive. We really appreciate you. Thanks especially to members Melissa Messer and John Book for their generosity. Sac-Connect wanted to do a video too, so check it out below:

2013-12-10: We wanted to give an exciting update. About a month ago Erin Stumpf let us know on our Facebook page that she would be donating $1 to Project 680 for every mile she completed in a 100-mile bike race (her first 100-miler by the way). Well, we are elated that Erin completely finished the race and she generously donated $100 to Project 680. What a cool way to turn something she was doing into a way to bless others. Thank you so much Erin!! You sincerely rock!!

To top things off, one of Erin’s co-workers at Dunnigan Realtors saw our Facebook post and decided to match Erin’s donation. It was a simple comment on the thread, but it resulted in an additional $100 dollars to support homeless kids. Isn’t this how generosity works? You step out to give to others and it ends up being a magnet to spread to others. Thank you so much for your kindness
